Free Printable Recipe Cards and Pages

I’ve been busy creating some free printable recipe cards and pages to share.

How often do you sit down to meal plan only to find your mind has gone completely blank? I have made so many meals that my family have enjoyed yet when it comes to creating my weekly menu I struggle to think what to cook. And so we end up eating the same dishes week after week.

I love looking through my cookbooks and magazines, finding delicious meals for us all. Then I make them, and they go down well, and then I forget what I’ve made or where I found the recipe and they never get done again.

That’s why I decided to create my own free printable recipe cards so I can build up a collection of all our favourite recipes in one place. My go-to resource when I’m planning our weekly menu.

You might like to use them with my free Weekly Meal Planner printable.

I made these recipe printables in 2 useful sizes. Full page size and 6″x4″. They come in PDF format in either A4 or 8.5×11 inch.

The download links are at the bottom of this post

6×4 printable recipe cards

These printable recipe cards are 6″x4″ and come in 3 different simple designs with 2 cards per page. They would be best printed on white cardstock to give them a bit of weight.

Print out as many as you need and store them in a recipe box or tin. There are some beautiful recipe boxes on Amazon or Etsy. If you have a laminator you could laminate them to help keep them clean.

I think a collection of well-loved recipes is a great gift to hand down to children when they leave home or go off to university.

My printable recipe cards have a space for the recipe title along with number of servings and prep and cook time. There is plenty of space to list ingredients and cooking instructions. I’ve also included a little 5 star review area so you can quickly locate which recipes are your absolute winners.

You can print these recipe pages in A4 or 8.5×11 inch. Then you can stick them straight in a ring binder or use page protectors to keep them extra safe.

I like the idea of using a pocket presentation display book for my recipes. I’m also going to keep a couple of the plastic sleeves at the back for recipes I’ve torn from magazines that I want to try. If they are successful I’ll write them up onto my printable recipe pages as meals to cook again.

These printable recipe pages have space for the recipe name at the top and a category section to help keep your recipes organised. You can note down number of servings as well as prep and cook time and there is plenty of space to write down your ingredients and directions.

I’ve also included a review area, space for extra notes, and any special tools or utensils you need to remember. There is also a place to make a note of where you sourced the original recipe.

I’ve deliberately made these printables in a clean and simple black and white format so they are easy and affordable to print out.

The files are 4 page PDFs. They include:

  • 1 full size recipe page

  • 3 pages with 2 of each card design

Just print out the pages you need.
