This week I’m sharing a new printable I created for my husband who has offered to join me on my Slimming World plan as he would like to lose a few pounds. It’s a Slimming World friendly weekly menu planner printable. Although I think it’s useful for all sorts of meal planning.
I’m pretty familiar with how Slimming World works but it is new to my husband. So I designed this weekly menu planner printable so he could write down his meals and then add the plan details in the little boxes below each meal.
And it’s worked pretty well so far. He’s far more diligent at logging his food than I am!
You could use this menu planner to plan all your meals in advance at the beginning of the week. Or you could list them as you go, day by day or even meal by meal.
The boxes underneath each meal were designed to record Slimming World Healthy As, Bs and Syns with the little boxes at the end for the day’s totals.
But they could have a variety of other uses too.
What else could you use it for?
- pricing your meals to help stick to a budget
- checking calorie count
- reminders to defrost an ingredient
- fresh food to be picked up that day
- whose turn it is to cook each meal
- the cookbook or website the recipe is from
- reviewing a new recipe
Pretty useful don’t you think?
There’s also an area for notes at the bottom. I used it to list a few ideas for snacks and extras along with their syn counts.
You might like to save all your used menu planners in a binder to reference back to. I find this helpful especially if I’m starting a new regime. Then I don’t have to keep on working out all the finer details over and over.
This meal planner is 2 pages long and has a Sunday or Monday start option.
I hope you find it useful. I think it’s quite simple but pretty effective too.
